How to Make a Contribution
Transferring KRW to KRW
- You can transfer your donation directly to our Korean bank account: 토스뱅크 1002-1418-4223
- Share the receipt with earsonncrc@gmail.com so we can confirm when the transfer has been received. Wise gives a PDF or link showing KRW received, date, and reference.
Transferring EUR to EUR
- From your European bank account, initiate a transfer.
- Recipient details:

- Reference/message: add a note:
- “EARS contribution - Your Name, youremail@email.com”
- Review and confirm. SEPA transfers usually arrive within 1–2 business days.
- Share the receipt with earsonncrc@gmail.com so we can confirm when the transfer has been received.
Transferring USD to KRW
We are not affiliated with Wise. The following instructions are provided simply for your convenience since from our experience, Wise provides the easiest method of transfer.
- Create an account or sign in at Wise (www.wise.com). Complete ID verification.
- Click Send money.
- From currency: USD. To currency: KRW (South Korean won).
- Enter the amount you’d like to contribute to EARS. Wise will show the fee and rate up front.
- Choose Delivery: “Bank transfer to bank account.”
- Recipient type: select ‘Individual’
- Recipient details:
- Country: South Korea
- Bank: Hana Bank (하나은행)
- Account number: 411-910398-42807
- Account holder name: Jung Nayoung
- You might also know EARS Co-Founder Jung Nayoung by her American name, Mary Bowers.
- Reason for transfer: choose or type Donation/Charity.
- Reference/message: add a note:

- Choose a payment method for the transfer. Some methods incure additional costs.
- Review and confirm. Double-check the Korean name and account number before sending.

Quick tips to avoid headaches
- Use the exact Korean legal name to match the correct account.
- Wise pays out via local KRW rails, so no SWIFT code is needed.
- If Wise asks for context, keep it simple with a note such as: “EARS contribution”
